Is a garage conversion a good investment?
Why most garages are worth more as a room than as a garage.
Garages on most estates were built as a selling point, but cars got bigger and garages did not. Very few people actually park in theirs.
Converting it adds a room to the house without moving or extending. A home office, bedroom or playroom is far more useful day to day.
It can also add value to the property. A good conversion makes the house more attractive to buyers, and some of our customers convert before remortgaging.
